Spark Energy enters new SoCal Market

Texas retail natural gas provider Spark Energy announced on Thursday that it is now providing energy to the Southern California Gas (SoCal Gas) utility district.

Spark Energy works in deregulated energy districts. It utilizes the local natural gas infrastructure that belongs to utility companies, and charges its own predetermined flat rate for the supply. It has service in sixteen states in the U.S.

With the addition of SoCal Gas, Spark now services four energy providers in California, including PG&E, SDG&E, and SWG.
