Biden’s EPA Calls Cancer-Causing Plastic Waste a “Biofuel”

There’s nothing more frustrating than government red tape holding back legislation that can help people.

But what comes after the regulations are clawed back can often be much worse.

Thanks to some unacceptably lax changes to the EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program, oil giant Chevron was recently given the green light for more than 30 “biofuels.”

The only problem? Most of the approved fuels are neither renewable nor biological.

In fact, nearly half of the proposed chemicals are confirmed to be made from highly toxic plastic waste.

The rest have been kept secret from the public — they could be made from spent plutonium for all we know.

According to the EPA’s own data, these chemicals also pose a truly unbelievable cancer risk.

The previous regulation set a safety baseline of one case of cancer per million exposures. This new fuel is projected to potentially cause cancer in 1 out of every 4 workers who handle it frequently.

Think about that for a minute. The EPA has suddenly decided to accept a risk that is 250,000 times greater than its previous standard.

I’m not usually one to rely on the government for answers, but a little bit of red tape would be great right now.

How Did We Get Here? Who's to Blame?

Like every nicely paved road to hell, this situation was created with the best intentions

The Biden administration’s never-ending crusade against fossil fuels birthed this awkwardly written piece of legislation to help streamline the approval process for renewable fuel.

Of course, by “streamline” I mean “water down the meaning and render useless.”

The language was carefully changed to prioritize “substitutes to petroleum-based fuels and fuel additives that use bio-based or waste-derived sources to produce biofuels.”

The statement itself is contradictory — just because something is renewable does NOT make it a biofuel. But according to these new guidelines, even jet fuel made from toxic plastic byproducts qualifies as “green” fuel.

It’s a problem that points to a much larger flaw with Biden’s liberal agenda. Even when he stumbles on to a good idea like promoting green energy, poor execution leads to disaster.

Given half a chance, any company involved in petroleum-based products will continue to protect its investment. It’s not the oil industry’s job to determine how much cancer is too much.

Chevron saw a loophole to turn its plastic waste into a profitable product and ran with it. After all, it’s a business designed to maximize profits, not a team of social workers.

If Biden genuinely cared about the environment instead of just using it as a flag to wave at his voters, he would drop the hammer on these foul excuses for green fuel — especially considering we’ve already found some better alternatives.

Invest in the Ultimate Green Fuel — No Caveats

I should start by mentioning that the REAL green fuel of the future poses zero cancer risks. I didn’t think I’d actually have to mention that, but here we are.

It’s a simple compound that humans have been using for decades without any major catastrophes. No Hindenburgs, Chernobyls, or massive surges in cancer have been left in its wake.

When burned, this green fuel releases plain nitrogen and water — plus a huge amount of energy.

And thanks to a very recent advance in generation technology, it can be made using renewable electricity with a machine the size of a small refrigerator.

That means it could work in the heart of a major city or in a remote field connected to solar panels. Major shipping vessels could theoretically house a mobile power plant and stay at sea indefinitely.

It’s no exaggeration to say that this fuel is where the REAL money is. If Chevron wasn't already sitting on a cheap source of plastic waste, its cancer-causing fuel would never see the light of day.

The tiny companies behind this tech are currently trading at incredibly undervalued prices. I can’t say for sure how long they can stay in stealth mode once this news breaks.
