Offshore Wind Farms get Approval in Scotland

Scotland’s energy ministry on Wednesday approved another major offshore wind farm in the Outer Moray Firth off the northeastern coast of the UK.

The new project would be linked to two existing wind farms belonging to Moray Offshore Renewables Ltd. And Beatrice Offshore Windfarm Ltd. To create the third largest offshore windfarm in the world. The three projects will have a combined 326 turbines.

Construction of the wind farm will create up to 4,600 new jobs and contribute an estimated 2.5 billion Sterling to Scotland’s economy.
