First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) Lands New Deal

First Solar (NASDAQ:FSLR) has been tapped by the Public Service Company of New Mexico to build 23 megawatts of solar power plants. There will be three in total. If approved by the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission, construction will be and be completed in 2014. 300 local construction jobs are expected from this project. The stock is up about 2 percent in pre-market.
