Enbridge (NYSE: ENB) sinks $200M in Texas Wind Project

Canada’s Enbridge Inc. announced on monday that it will be contributing $200 million to the Keechi Wind Project in North Texas’ Jack County. In November, Microsoft entered into a twenty year deal to buy power from the not-yet-built wind farm, and construction of the project followed shortly thereafter.

Keechi will be a 110 megawatt farm, and will include 55 turbines from Vestas, built by Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Americas. Enbridge will be working with RES on the construction of the wind farm.
