Cannabis is the New Big Pharma
This New Treatment for Alzheimer’s is Worth a Fortune
Harper Howard was born on April 12, 2010.
She was born with a rare genetic disorder called CDKL5 epilepsy.
At two weeks old, Harper began having severe seizures. At her worst, she was having 40 seizures a day, and none of the conventional therapies were working.
Now, this little girl was born with a disorder that would undoubtedly take her life. And while her life was certain to be short, her mother, Penny Howard, didn’t want those short years to be “unlivable.”
So, as any good parents would, Penny and her husband searched frantically for something that would ease their daughter’s seizures. And they found it in CBD oil.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound found in cannabis. And when the oil is extracted from the stalk of a hemp plant, it has a wide range of medical benefits, as the parents of Harper Howard soon discovered.
Within two weeks of using the oil, Harper’s seizures were cut in half. And after honing in on the right dosage, eventually the seizures ended completely. What followed was exciting.
Here’s an excerpt from a piece that Harper Howard’s mother had published:
I’ll never forget giving the CBD oil to Harper and seeing the immediate impact it had on her quality of life. Within the first three days we had eye contact and verbalization sounds from her, an attempt to interact with us physically and she was now able to show us that she was with us mentally. It wasn’t long before she went a day without a seizure! And then another day without a seizure!
Before we knew it she was at 45, 50 then 60 days without a seizure. Harper even came out of her stupor, her shell, and interacted with the family, we got her little personality back. She got to meet her baby brother Seth after he was born late in 2014.
How was this even possible? After three years of living in hell there was finally light! Harper does not simply exist here on Earth but rather she lives!
While the big discussions around cannabis these days tend to center on the legalization of cannabis for recreational purposes, as investors, and just as decent human beings, the reality of cannabis being used as an effective treatment for hundreds of diseases and ailments is one that should not be trivialized.
Cannabis: The New Big Pharma
I’m not going to lie.
Investing in cannabis has made me, and members of my Green Chip Stocks community, mountains of cash.
We got in early on some of the biggest cannabis players in the world... before they became “the biggest cannabis players in the world.”
I’m talking about companies such as:
- Canopy Growth Corporation (TSX: WEED) — Currently up 1,652%
- OrganiGram Holdings (TSX-V: OGI) — Currently up 927%
- Aphria, Inc. (TSX: APH) — Currently up 1,133%
And that’s just a small sampling.
Truth is, I’ve made more money from the cannabis space in the past three years than I’ve made from anything else since first getting into the investment game back in 1994.
But here’s the best part...
Not only has cannabis helped me create enormous wealth, but it’s also helped me to support companies that produce cannabis for the purpose of treating the sick.
While there’s loads of evidence that shows cannabis can serve as an effective treatment for epilepsy, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Although studies on medical cannabis have been limited due to the prohibition of cannabis in the U.S., more and more research is now being carried out as legalization starts to take hold around the world.
Our analysts have traveled the world over, dedicated to finding the best and most profitable investments in the global energy markets. All you have to do to join our Energy and Capital investment community is sign up for the daily newsletter below.
We’re now finding that cannabis can serve as an effective treatment for a lot of major illnesses, including but not limited to:
- Tourette’s syndrome
- Traumatic brain injury
- Crohn’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis
The list goes on and on.
And this means two things:
1. A lot of people who suffer from incurable diseases are now finding effective treatments and therapies from cannabis.
2. Investors now have an opportunity to invest in the companies that are providing these new cannabis-based therapies that, in some cases, are now being chosen over conventional therapies and drugs.
It’s almost as if there’s a new “Big Pharma” being incubated in the world of cannabis.
And make no mistake, there’s a boatload to be made by getting an early piece of this new “Big Pharma.”
This is a Revolution
I’m not anti-conventional medicine.
Let me make that perfectly clear.
However, conventional medicine doesn’t always work. And if there’s a viable alternative, rest assured, it will be utilized and, of course, prove profitable.
According to Grand View Research, the complementary and alternative medicine market is expected to generate up to $200 billion by 2025. And this market doesn’t really address some of the bigger diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, HIV, and multiple sclerosis.
Cannabis, however, does. And that makes the industry incredibly powerful, and incredibly lucrative.
And that, dear reader, is why we’re taking early positions in the cannabis companies that have first-mover advantage and are leading the way in the mainstreaming of medical cannabis.
As I showed you earlier, we’ve already landed some pretty big winners in the cannabis space.
And honestly, we’re still in the earliest stages of growth.
Although this year is looking to be the biggest yet.
With California having just fully legalized in January, and the entire country of Canada set to legalize this summer, the market is ready to explode.
Heck, even Mexico is legalizing cannabis now.
And outside of North America, cannabis is now legal in some form in Australia, Colombia, Denmark, Spain, Uruguay, Israel, Italy, Germany, Finland, and Argentina.
Make no mistake, this is a real revolution taking place, and it’s going to help a lot of sick people find the medicine they need, which, of course, offers a huge opportunity to investors who get in while it’s still early.
To help you do just that, I’ve put together the following “Introduction to Cannabis Investing” video, which you can watch here.
You can also get a copy of my 77-page e-book, “A Beginner’s Guide to Investing in Cannabis,” by clicking here.
The bottom line is that if you’re looking for a way to make a lot of money from an industry that actually helps a lot of sick people, there is no better way to do it than by getting a piece of the legal cannabis market.
To a new way of life and a new generation of wealth...
